We took 3 of our donkeys to the Texas State Fair (Oct 4th-- 09).Paul showed them all, and we did quite well with the group we took.

***Stoney Acres Shaker -- 1st in 5yrs and over Jacks and went on to win Reserve Champion Jack !!
***Amigo's Mocha --- 3rd in a very tough 2 yr old jennet class.
***Litl Rasscals Chardonnay -- 3rd in a nice group of yearling jennets.
It was the first show for the jennets and it had been awhile since Paul had shown anything with "longears", but despite the cold ,rainy weather we made it through !!!

 

 

 

Well........ we still haven't gotten to show the  longeared equine yet ,but here we are on Memorial Day Saturday 2009 winning the Novice Amateur Reining -- Circuit Champion.There were 6 judges, and we were 1st under 5 and 2nd under 1 to give us the points needed to complete Kizzy's ROM in Nov.Am. Reining.

Shown in the picture--rt to lft-- are Kizzy (horse),Maria,Paul, Margaret and Bob Radloff.Bob and Margaret have Paint Horses as well as several Pembroke Corgis, one of them being a nice "Eddie" daughter that is currently being shown Bluemoon Solitary Diamond aka "Sparkle".

 

Here we are NOT showing those "longears" again, but having alot of fun with my now 4 year old mare at the Paint World Show in Fort Worth.She was 7th place in the Novice Amateur Reining.This was our 4th show together and we did well.Thanks go to Joe and Liz Hayes for continuing with her/ and my training. 

 

 

Although she does not have "long ears" we are non the less proud of our new paint 3 year old reining mare SHINING CHAMPAGNE !! Here she is Reining Futurity Reserve Champion at the Paint Congress.She was also 5th at the Paint World Show in the Futurity there with her previous owner and breeder- the Dalpias's of Painted Moose Ranch.She was shown at the Paint World by David Zimmerman.As of Nov.07 she is nearing her ROM in Open Reining.Thanks to Gerald Ellis for her recent accomplishments.

SHORT ASSET'S LIL RASSCAL- 3RD IN A VERY TOUGH 5YR AND OVER JACK CLASS -- SHOWN BY PAUL (THIS WAS THE FIRST SHOW FOR BOTH OF THEM)

 

DEAVER'S MAXAMILLIAN, DROVE HIS HEART OUT TO WIN THE OPEN PLEASURE DRIVING! 2ND IN OPEN OBSTACLE DRIVING AND 4TH IN THE CLOVERLEAF BARRELS.
 
BOTH OF THESE 2 JACKS DID EXTREMELY WELL IN THE TOUGH COMPETITION AT THIS SHOW.
